Saraswati - The Divine Spark of Creativity
A four week online series + 21 Day sadhana practice
January 28 - February 18, 2021
Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, Music, Arts, Wisdom, and Science is one of the most beautiful and inspiring forms of Shakti, the Divine creative energy of the universe. Her name means “the one who flows or the essence of self” and she is the manifestation power behind Brahma - lord of creation. She is the mother of all creation. Her vibration is Aum and is the basis for all mantra, music and expression. It is Saraswati who graces a singers tongue with the sweetness of song, inspires a great mind with eloquent speech and innovation, and guides a writers hand to compose inspiring poetry and intriguing works of literature.
Saraswati’s expression of creative energy is limitless and lies within each and every one of us. We all have something unique and creative to offer the world. It is our gift as humans, a gift that comes directly from the Goddess. Let’s invite Saraswati in and see what beauty emerges.
During our time together we will use mantra, meditation, ritual, playful exploratory exercises, and Satsang to awaken ourselves to this Divine Creative power. We will also take time to acknowledge and cultivate gratitude for the creative flow and beauty already present in our lives.
Whether you consider yourself creative or not doesn’t matter! We all have a basic need to express ourselves, and Saraswati is ready to help!
