Shiva is called the Adi Yogi, which means the “First Yogi.” Yoga originated with Shiva, and it is only because of Shiva’s infinite compassion and love for us that we have these powerful practices at all. Although Shiva is fully realized and non-attached, he also loves his devotees and is more than happy to help us to achieve our spiritual goals.
Prepare to go deep into the inner realms through meditation, mantra, and kirtan, all focused on Shiva and all designed to help us uncover our true Shiva nature: Sat-Chit-Ananda – Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss. This Self-Awareness is the greatest gift that Shiva bestows upon us when we practice.
We are especially happy that the starting date of March 11th is MahaShivatri, which means the "Great Night of Shiva." What an auspicious way to begin this celebration of Shiva, the Lord Of Yoga and Transformation.
