The Bhakti Toolbox: RAM DASS
A four-week ONLINE series ~ Thursday evenings (April 2-23, 2020)
LIVE ON ZOOM
We can’t wait for this new module of the Bhakti Toolbox! Ram Dass, aka Richard Alpert, is one of the most influential figures in the Bhakti movement in the West. After meeting his Guru, Neem Karoli Baba, in the late '60s, Ram Dass came back to the US with a mission to spread the teachings of unconditional LOVE, selfless SERVICE and constant REMEMBRANCE of the Divine.
Soon after his return, Ram Dass wrote the seminal book, BE HERE NOW, and spent the rest of his life sharing his life lessons with us. He did this with humility, with wit, with enthusiasm and most importantly, with complete devotion. Ram Dass recently left his body, but his message grows stronger every day and continues to remain as relevant as ever.
In this series, we will spend time listening to his lectures and discussing the teachings. We will learn more about Neem Karoli Baba, and discover how this great Indian saint influenced Ram Dass. We will practice his famous ‘loving awareness’ meditation and every session will include a kirtan to Sita, Ram, and Hanuman.
If you’ve ever wanted to get to know Ram Dass better, or are just curious to learn more about this amazing being, this is your chance. Please join us!
